Hi, I was reading your entry about making chocolate bars at home and I wanted to let you know about some other really cool things you can do to make custom chocolate bars with logos and graphics. Using various techniques you can make a design on your computer and create a custom chocolate mold. This is a great idea for fund raisers, corporate giveaways, and weddings.

Basically, to make a chocolate mold, you first need to make a model of what you want your chocolate to look like. You can buy a plain chocolate bar mold and then modify it with your design. This can be accomplished in many ways. For example, you could carve a design if you want to be simple. Or, if you care to get a bit more creative, you can use photopolymer plates or stamping dies. All you need is an image in relief (raised). Using these products, you can print a transparency from a home computer and create a plate that is placed on top of a plaster bar, you made from your plain mold. Then you can make a mold by either vacuum forming plastic or using food grade silicone.

Its a little bit of work, but the results are pretty neat.
